[By GirsY Grand.] Blarnc-y has been withdrawn from the Napier Cup. and Moon raker ha.s been scratched for the Flying. Multiform and Sedgebrook liavc returned to their respective homes. Lorelei, l-'lying Shor, Undine, ami Ileadford are expected by to-day's express, bound for Napier. The thoroughbreds offered for sale on Saturday failed to reach the reserve. Connop lias taken up a good-looking six-year-old half-brother to St Ivilda by Flintlock. Ilaria and New Forest had their legs knocked about in the Burke Memorial Handicap through being galloped on. I'orangi I'otae and .Merry Maid fell in the Te Aroha Handicap, but escaped uninjured. At Avondale on Saturday tin- Autumn Handicap was won by I'orangi I'otae, Lufra was second, and Lady Marion third.
