Lorelei, l-'lying Shor, Undine, ami Ileadford are expected by to-day's express, bound for Napier. The thoroughbreds offered for sale on Saturday failed to reach the reserve. I'orangi I'otae and .Merry Maid fell in the Te Aroha Handicap, but escaped uninjured. At Avondale on Saturday tin- Autumn Handicap was won by I'orangi I'otae, Lufra was second, and Lady Marion third.
