( I'cr I'reus Awciatioii.) Dt/nkuin, This day. Messrs T. Wayne, Murray, Christie, Erson, and Crane have been elected unopposed for the City Licensing Commit tec. Messrs Allen, Stead, J. Ramage, J. M. Smith, John Johnston, and Roy, the nominees of the no license party were elected unopposed for Clutha. The following nominations have been received for the Taieri Licensing District :—W. Snow, Alex. Douglas, > \V. Kirkland, J. F. Leary, Chas. Samson (Moderates): and Alex. C'hisholm, W. Grant, D. T. Sband, W. Mclndoe, John Allau (Temperance). Fielding, This day.
The following are the nominations for the Rangitikei Licensing election : —W. A. L. Bailey, John Bruce, Rev. James Cocker, Alex Dick, Alfred Dick, Francis Guv, John Greenwood, Even McGregor, "H. L. Sherwill, T. R. Taylor. Both sides are equal, but there is no open declaration.
