l'i r I'iyxx Association.) Acckt.ant>, This Day. The trial of Thomas Carroll, charged with throwing sulphuric acid at Robert Roby Jewell, with intent to disfigure him concluded yesterday. The jury retired at 1.20 p.m. nn:l not having agreed at 9.4-3 p.m. were locked up for the night. This morning at 9.40 they were again called before His Honor, but not having agreed upon any verdict they were disd^^d. ~jP*ty?h trial will conclude probably to morrow morning.
