The Greek fleet has virtually withdrawn from Crete. The Greek Government received the demands in regard to Crete. They have agreed to the Greek military acting under the officers of the Powers, but require a plebiscite of the Cretans to be taken and three months to determine the form of Government to be established. They also demand that the Powers compel Turkey to withdraw from Crete and from the Greek i frontier. The C'vetan insurgent chiefs have informed the Admirals that they are willing to accept autonomy. The Moslems in Crete are appealing to the Powers for facilities to imigrate from the Island. The Admirals of the foreign fleets have discovered that Reineek, the Greek naval commander, abstained from warning the Cretan insurgents that the ships of the powers would bombard the camp if they threatened C'anea. The insurgents were unaware that autonomy had been promised to Crete. Londox, March 12. The Vienna correspondent of the Times states that the Powers intend to advice a programme in regaid to the blockade of Crete as the chief means of compelling the Greeks to withdraw. According to the Athens correspondent of the Times the Greek Government considers the chief danger of Greece lies in the situation on the Turkish frontier.
