The following are the results of a number of events which were decided after we went to Press yesterday : Uieycle Handicap, second event, three miles.—T. M'Dowell. 162vds, 1 ; A. E. Xewman,43svrds,2; H. Symonds, 300 yds, 8. Also started—Clieer, Catherall, and Scott. Time, 9min 54see. Caledonian Handicap, third event, 440 yards.—G. Wareham, 1; Neagle, 2; C. Rynn, o. E. Schmidt was the only other starter. Wareham won easily. Time 57sec. Half Mile Run Handicap; first prize £'s, second .£2.—M'l.achlan, 1; Merritt, 2; Wareham, 8. Time, '2min 7sec. Wrestling (Cumberland style) ; first prize, £o, second .£l.—M'Nab, 1 ; Carlson, 2. Brightwell and M. OGrady also competed. Hop, Step, and Jump Handicap ; first prize 30s, second 15s.—Carlson, 3ft 6in, 1; W. Wyeth, scratch, 2. Five competitors. Distance, 44ft 4in. Consolation Handicap, 220 yards ; first prize £2, second .£1. —E. Smith, 1; J. M'Laehlan, 2; W. Wyeth, 3. Eleven starters. The trophies were presented amid applause bv Mrs Russell. The gates totalled something over £BB. The points scored in the Caledonian Handicap were : Neagle 11 Ryan 10 Wareham ... ... ... 7 The points scored in the Bicycle Handicap were : M'Dowell 8 Newman 8 Symonds 4 M'Dowell and Newman divide first and second prize, Symonds taking third prize.
