PRESIDENT KIU'GER'S SPEECH "DARK CLOUDS OVERHANG THE TRANSVAAL." (/'</• J'n.-x As*"ri«ti»n. —' Pi:f-.iohiA. March 1. In his speech proroguing the Volksraad, President Krnger said dark clouds overhang the Transvaal, but he felt confident the Lord would assist them. It was the policy of the State never to attack. Majuha Day, commemorating the Boers victory over the British at Majuha Hill, was celebrated with trie usual enthusiasm. A great feeling of unrest prevails thiemghotu the Transvaal.
