Manawatu Railway Land Sale.

The next sale of the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company's land takes place at Wellington on Tuesday, IGth March next. T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co., Limited, will again conduct the sale.' The block to be offered comprises 8,800 acres of drained swamp land subdivided into sections ranging from 10 acres to 186 acres, in addition to which there are fifteen bush sections in Tokomaru and Linton. The land is stated to be the best the company has yet offered to the public. The terms of sale ai'e the same as hitherto, viz., 10 per cent cash, and balance on mortgage for seven years at o per cent. Plans of the sections will be posted to any address by the auctioneers, or can be had on application at this office.
