Mr William-- admitted that th> licensing int-1. worked with the Liberal interest and their ticket inelu-l.d Mr Fisher.
.Mr Martin Kennedy was also examined and then this portion of the case was stopped as the petitioner had no more uitin ss:s on the subject. The bm-.of treating was next taken.
Mr Skerrett objected that the treating must be on election day and the treating alleged was the day before.
Mr Morrison contends d that the election was from the time the candidature was ann on need. If they proved wholesale treating votes would be disqualified ,-, t 1,1.if that did not succeed they would take individual cases on their merits.
The Court decided to hear the evidence before determining the point.
Mrs Fulton was called but her evidence was not very material and Judge Conolly said it was half an hour wasted.
This day
In the Petition Court, further evidence of alleged treating was brought forward, but Mr S-'kerrett was not called on to examine. The evidence of obstruction of voters is now being taken.
