Brougbton, judgment for amount with costs (during the hearing of this c-ase Mr Beilby left the bench his place being taken by Mr Gilniu.) htnbbs, Patterson and Co. v. Spencer, claim for judgment order. An order was made for payment at the rate of '.2 per month. Hay (Ebbett) v. Sydiaw, this was a case arising out of the ownership of a sheep dog and a claim of i'-j for same. Judgment for plaintiff with costs. J. -Jameson (Lewis) v. Ovide Musin. This was a claim of 10s for cab hire which M. Musin considered exorbitant and consequently refused to pay. Mr H. H. Hunt who conducted the ca.se for M. Musin, admitted that M. Musin asked Jameson to call at the theatre after the performance. It was on the advice of Mr C'ollinge, the Town Clerk, that Musin refused payment. Judgment for amount claimed with fis costs. An application on behalf of the plaintiff for half a day's expenses was not allowed. Bader (Ebbett) v. Hat-ton, claim £4 for damage to a fence. Defendant leased a paddock from plaintiff in 1883 on the understanding that at the end of the term the fencing should be handed over in good ordei and condition. This was not done, hence the claim. Judgment granted with costs.
