LIGHT WEIGHT BREAD.
[To IHK iMJITOK.j hut - is there an Inspector of weights in this town, and if there is, does he ever carry out his duties ? If there is not, of course I ami a great many others must sutler from this want of mich an ollucr. On Saturday 1 received three loaves of bread from my haker, nominally 21b.-> weight each. Two of the loaves were pan louver and one a cottage loaf. As they seemed rather small, and Im \ air a pair of scales and weights in the house, the loaves were weighed, and each loaf was found not h >,. i than four ounces .short of the weight that is 12 ounces short of tbo six pounds which they wt-rc supposed to and which 1 was charged for. i enclose my name, and if tho police or whoever is re.sjtonsible for proper weight in hread u'im n in-jmren yon are at liberty to «tve i\ Fancy 7d i*-r four lb loaf and H ounce-, short weignt.—Yours, Ac., A Family MA*.
