ROBBERY AT COOLGARDIE.

A DARING DEED. (PcT Prrtw A>v<7e'/'<>!.Pkbth, -Tail. 25. A daring highway robbery close to Coolgardie was committed on Saturday. Mitchell and Paull, manager and storekeeper respectively, of liurbank's Consols and Burban'k s North mines, drew a large snm from the bank to pay the men's wages. Driving from town to the mines, three men armed with rifled suddenly surprised them, and ordered them to bail up, at the same time firing several shots into the ■wheels of the buggy Mitchell andPaull surrendered, and were gagged, bags being placed over their head, and they were tied to a tree along with a third man, Houghton, who had appeared 011 the scene. The robbers decamped with £7'23 in notes. Houghton subsequently freed himself, and reported the robbery. A large /«>»*• of police and civilians are tracking the robbers.
