Prices declined about per cent At to-day's wool sales Messrs Charles 1 Jaime. Buxton, and Jacombe catalogued 9919 bales. The selection was poor. There was a good attendance of buyer-;, but a dragging sale .so far as competition was concerned and much was withdrawn. Good merino fell per cent and faulty 7i per cent below the December clo-ing rates. Crossbred- ranged from par to f» per cent lower, but the finest declined most.
