Wedding Bells.
SMITH—LIVESEY.
This morning the Catholic Church was the scene of a neat little wedding, when Father Smythe united in wedlock Mr Alexander Smith, assistant trainer for the Hon. J. ]). Ormond, and Miss Jane Josephine Jivesey, second daughter of Mr and Mrs J. W. Livesey, of this town. The bride, who was given away by her father, carried a beautiful shower bouquet, and was charmingly attired in spotted muslin with white satin trimmings, and the usual veil. She was attended by Miss M. J. Skinner, who was dressed similarly to the bride, as bridesmaid, and the functions of best man were discharged by Mr S. A. Wooley, brother-in-law of the bride. At the conclusion of the ceremony a large number of guests were entertained by Miami Mrs Livesey at their residence, after which the young couple left for Napier? where they spend their honeymoon, amidst, the congratulations of a large number of friends and well-wishers. The presents were numerous and well-selected.
