Mr Musgrove pre- n'- d the report which referred principally to the team's success. Replying to a question why they did f.rtt return l» :'oi•• November 30, lie said he h.id to he governed by the majority. and that the visit to New Z< aland only made them fifteen days late. The Adelaide delegates thought, while the team had done wrong, still the way in which they acquitted themselves had made them not blamealde to any great extent, and thought that the chairman of the Council hail ex cefded his power in regard to the directions and advice given to the team. The report was adopted, and a voteof thanks to Mr Musgrove carried. A motion, declaring the latter had forfeited the confidence of the Couucii. was los; by H to 3. The Couucii passed a motion that in future it should finance, control, and organise visits to England and elsewhere.
