Dunedin Wool Sales.
[By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Duxedin, Dec. 18. The first wool sale of the season took place to-day when 4915 bales were catalogued. There was afull attendance of buyers. English, Colonial and local manufacturers were well represented. Prices, although equivalent to London values, were not equal to last season. Long wool and crossbreds lid to Id below prices ruling at the opening sale last year. Merinos have not suffered t-o the same extent; but owing to superior condition of wools some clips realised prices almost equal to those of last season.
