Pride's Darling's sire was Cox's Pride of Scotland (imported) dam Fanny by Bothwell (imported), &c., Are. Pride's Darling gained a first prize at Dunedin Show in 1886 and a first prize at the Taieri Show in the same year. Also firsts at Dunedin and Taieri Shows, 1887. In 1888 she gained first prize at the Taieri Show. The Earl of Salisbury is good tempered and a s\ire foal getter. Terms, £4 4s, payable January 1, 1897. Good paddockiug for mares at Is 6d per week.
