Wesleyan Synod.

[By Telegraph.] (Per Prens Association.) Auckland, Nov. 27. At the Wesleyan Methodist Synod the Rev. J. Frost was recommended to the Conference, subject to a written examination being satisfactory; the Rev. A. Ashcroft to pass, subject to the same condition. The Synod recommended the Conference to appoint Mr Bull to carry out during his year of leisure that work to which the Conference of 1894 designated him in conjunction with the Rev. W. J. Williams, a work for which during many years he has been collecting most valuable materials, namely, that of preparing a jubilee volume recording the history of Methodism in New Zealand. New home mission stations have been opened at Kuaotunu and Cabbage Bay. The expenditure on Three King's College was £634, leaving a debit balance of ±'Bo ; Home and mission receipts £BBB, expenditure £960. The Rev. J. H. Simmonds was elected to represent the Synod on the stationing committee.
