Hr Fraser at Papakura.

The schoolroom at Papakura was crowded last night to hear the first political address delivered within its walls. Mr Mnssntan in the chair introduced the speaker in a neat speech. Mr Fraser, who was greeted with cheers, gave a brilliant review of the Government administration, the speaker was heartily cheered many times during his address, which lasted one hour and a half. At the conclusion of which Mr George Bee proposed a hearty vote of thanks to Mr l-'raser for his able and instructive address. A lady in the audience proposed a vote of con ride nee in Mr Fraser. which was carried on the showing of hands (two voting contrary). Mr Fraser was the rec.-ipi tit of a charming compliment from the ladies of Papakura. A magnificent bouquet of flowers was presented to him by a pretty little girl of ten years.
