The ladies that within the last few weeks made themselves so affabf#Biul nice to the working men and their wives and daughters cannot claim to bo pliilaiithrophists, nor do tho people whoso homes the}' have visited want charitable aid. The truth is always better, and tho ladies who pose as such in Hastings have nothing to recommend them either for kinduess, education, or tact. Better for them to stay at home and attend to their domestic duties than insult intelligent woman by their forced attentions, for purposes merely for electioneering use. "Woman Voter.
