Won by half a length after a great finish. Time, lniin 45sec. Div., £6 6s. Maiden Hack. Whario ... ••• 1 Steclshot ... ••• ••• 2 Guardsman ... ••• 3 Totia, Moatau, C'onie Again, Saltorial. and Sherwood were scratched. "\\ on by half a length on the post. Time, lniin 21 £ sees. Div„ X'll 19s. Exhibition Handicap, 1] miles. Armilla. 7st ... 1 Errand Bov. 7st ... ••• 2 The Miser. 7st .51b ... o The Possible and Golden Plover were scratched. Won all the way by two lengths. When entering the straight Acone and Flaneur fell, injuring their riders Gallagher and Jones. The former is verv seriously hurt, and at presentfears are entertained for his recovery.
