After ttn.succe&'ful {arleyings two parties 200 strong, fully armed with native weapons, attacked each other, and the light lasted two hours. It was eventually stopped by the police tiring over the heads of the combatants and causing a stampede. Two Kulqooriiu blacks weiv badly speared and some others slightly wouuded.
