FEDERATION CONVENTION.
THE COMMONWEALTH BILL IX COMMITTEE. Sydney, Nov. 17. The Federation Convention has decided to work on the basis of the Bill drafted in I*9l, and then to issue a manifesto to the Australasian people. As a result of deliberations after prolonged discussion it was resolved to put the Commonwealth Bill through the Committee stage, and its clauses are now being discussed
