THE WORK OF THE SESSION. JSvr-XEV. Nov. 13. Parliament was prorogued by proclamation to-day. The Factory and Shop Hours Bill, Land Tax Assessment Bill, Colored Races Bill, Restriction of Mining Law Amendment Bill passed both Houses. In dismissing the Assembly Mr Reid aaid it would be known as the most useful session in their Parliamentary history. Inßle Council the Attorney-General promised the establishment of a Land Tax Court of Appeal immediately they went into recess. The session, he said, had been a record one so far as the measures passed were concerned.
