OF CARPENTERS. Ai'ia.Mi'K. Nov. 7. A meeting of carpenter- decided on a general strike on Monday unless the employers raise the wages from 8s to 9s per day. The employers expressed their willingness to pay *s bd per day after December Ist, but are determined to resist further advances.
