A SHAKE STORY.

Sydney, Oct. I^. The return of summer generally brings a snake story or two. About one of the couK'a from the Glen limes district. f It appears that a married aboriginal was suckling a young baby during one night last week, and awoke to find instead of her infant a large black make attached to one of her breasts, regaling itself. The woman awoke her husband in a great fright, and while doing so the •make disappeared. Search was made, and the reptile discovered and shot.
