Sudden Death in Napier.

A CABMAN EXPIRES IN THE STREET.

[Froji Our Own Correspondent.] Napier, This day. Excitement was caused in town this morning when a cabman named Harry Rogers dropped dead. He was standing conversing with cabman Malcolm Campbell in front of the Post Office when he complained of a pain in his side. He immediately afterwards fell to the ground. Three doctors were at once on the spot, but could do nothing as life was extinct. The supposed cause of death was heart disease. Deceased was 43 years of age and leaves a wife and a large number of children. Deceased was insured for £IOO but had allowed his policy to lapse, but it had been kept going by the Government with the surrender value.
