L> M'on, Oct. 12. Wool is unchanged, but prices are rather weaker if anything. A football team was struck by lightning at Liverpool. One member was killed and live injured. Lady Scott others have been committed for trial for libelling Earl Ru-sel. The Queen and the Empre-s Frederick sent messages of condolence to Mrs Benson and family on the death of the Archbishop. Nkw York, Oct. 13. Archbishop Ireland, of Minnesota, denounces Mr Bryan's programme as inimical to social order and likely to lead to anarchy. Mr Smalley, the well-known journalist, declares that Mr M'Kinley is certain to carry the eastern, middle, and western States, and that the sound currency views expressed by him are spreading to the Far West. Washinotos, Oct. 13. It is reported here that the British Government are demanding greater concessions from Venezuela. Buns, Oct. l:s. Admiral Gerraise has been ordered to secure redress for the outrage recently committed by Ivieff pirates on the Morocco coast. The extradition of Tynan has been refused. Berlin, Oct. 13. Treachery is suspected by Abdul Khaled, and the German official papers warn him if he carries on intrigues from German territory he must take shelter elsewhere.
