The Petone Murder.

NO FURTHER CLUE. (By Telegraph.) [Special to Standard.] Wellington, This day. A poker belonging to the murdered people Jones was found in the bushes near the house. It is assumed that Mrs Jones seized it to defend herself and that the murderer flung it there. Despite the utmost diligence the police are unable to find any further clue to the perpetrators of the tragedy than the somewhat slender information already in their possession.
