A MINING ACCIDENT.

<+» A MINER HORRIBLY MANGLED. Brisbane, Sept. 2. A shocking fatality occurred in the Queen Central mine to-day. A shot had been prepared when one of the miners, named Curry, failed to get into the bucket but clung to the ring at the bottom and was hauled np some 80 feet when he lost his hold and fell to the bottom of the shaft. Just as the unfortunate men struck the bottom the shot exploded and the body was fearfully mangled.
