[By Telegraph.] (From our Special Vorri'-ipondcnt. ) Wellington, This day. The Reporting and Debates Committee will report to the House this afternoon re the complaint by Mr G. J. Smith of the omission .from Hansard of Dr Cahill's certificate regarding leave of absence for the member for Wallace, and on inquiry they find that the certificate was lost and no blame attached to Hansard.

The Hon Mr Hall-Jones told the Committee that the certificate had been lost, and it had not been handed to the Hansard reporters.
