Bank of New Zealand.

ANNUAL MEETING. (By Telegeaph.) Special to Standard. Wellington, This Day. The annual meeting of the Bank of New Zealand shareholders yesterday afternoon, was merely a formal affair. After Messrs T. G. Macarthy and Martin Kennedy had been re-elected directors, the Chairman (Mr Watson) stated that as the Banking enquiry was still before the country, the Board were unanimous that the meeting should adjourn without proceeding with further business. This was agreed to, and the meeting adjourned till October 15th.
