THE SCULLING RACE.
STANBURY IN EXCELLENT FORM. London. August 26. The doctor states that the cut will not affect Stanbury's rowing, and will be healed in a few days. He was exercising on Tuesday, and spurted 82 strokes in the minute. Gaudaur drifted on to a shoal while practising, and his boat was disabled. There is no betting on the race. The Sporting Life says Stanbury is very fit, and without an ounce of superfluous flesh.
