THIS Society is prepared to advance sums of £25 and upwards upon approved freehold or leasehold securities, at rates of interest Jotirr than those of any similar society in Hawke's Bay or throughout New Zealand. Loans are granted by the Society for periods of from 2 to 10 years, repayable by monthly instalments. If from sickness or other causes borrowers are prevented paying their monthly instalments, repayments of principal may be suspended, and interest only charged on the principal owing for the time being. No procuration or commission fees, and legal costs very much lower than those usually charged. Loans or any portion of them can be paid off at any time, by giving three months' notice to the Society. SEEING what a bold Trotting has taken in Hawke's Bay, I have succeeded in buying the Trotting Stallion " TIP-TOP." He is a dark bay, with black points, three years old, and stands 16 hands. " Tip-top "is by Judge Belden out of Lily Vermlont He had twelve mares last season, and all are in foal, which proves that he is sure. Knowing full well that his breeding cannot be picked to pieces, I intend to offer him to the public this coming season. He is exceptionally quiet and good-tempered, and is a performer, having run first in Auckland, third in Hawera, and second in New Plymouth.
