Melbourne, August 15
C. B. Fisher appealed to the Full Court against Judge Molest orth's refusal to grant him an unconditional discharge from bankruptcy. The Court held that Justice Moles worth had no reason for saying the insolvent improperly made away with his assets or that the insolvency was due to circumstances for which he should be held liable. A certificate of discharge was granted. Adelaide, August 15. The customary signature of bishops 13 that of the name of the diocese appended to their initials. Government has declined to allow Bishop Hariner to so sign himself for enrolment under the marriage laws. The secretary of the Anglican Synod pointed out that previous bishops were enrolled in this way, but the Government expressed the opinion that the course has been irregular. Then a doubt arose as to the legality of the marriages celebrated, but the Government replied that without casting a doubt on the legality it was unable to sanction any departure from the regular course in Bishop Banner's case.
