AGAINST KENT. London, August 6. The match Kent v. Australians began at Canterbury to-day, there being a large attendance. The weather was fine. The Home team comprises : A. Hearne, Mason, Martin, Hurst, Shine, Wright, Bumdip, Patterson, Marchaut, Weidall, and Bashleigh. M'Kibbin,- Graham, and Kelly are not playing for the Colonials.
