A young man named George Whiteni&n was admitted to the Greytown Hospital on Thursday with a compound fracture of the leg. He was bushfelling at Whitiinanuko, and having scarfed one tree fell another against it with the result that the scarfed tree split up and rebounded, pinning Whiteman's leg to the ground. His boot was completely torn off, and the break is & very bad one.
