At a meeting of the Education Board a return was produced which showed that under the Local Bodies Reform Bill, Wellington, with over 5000 school children, could only return one member to the Conciliation Board as against nine by those districts possessing in the aggregate but few more. It was decided to inform the Government that the Board strongly disapproves of the Bill in this respect. Hawera, this day.
