NEW ZEALAND IRON SAND. REVOLT IN MADAGASCAR. London, July 25. N.Z. rabbits are quoted at Bd. British harvest operations are progressing satisfactorily. Experts are unanimously of the opinion that the yield will be favorable. Reports from France and Russia state that in either country the yield will not be tip to expectation ; otherwise the return from the Continent is favorable. The New Zealand Iron and Steel Company with a capital of ±"450,000 is issuing £350,000 worth of shares to the public. The company has been formed to acquire and work Taranaki iron sand deposits. At the Bisley meeting of the National Rifle Association the Queen's prize was won by Lieutenant Thompson, of the Queen's Edinburghs, with an aggregate of 273. Capetown, July 25. The entire province of Enyrna, in Madagascar, has broken out in open revolt to the French rule.
