AGAINST M.C.C. AND GROUND. POOR OPENING BY THE COLONIALS. Loxdox, July 28. The Australians played against M.C.C. and Ground at Lord's to-day. The attendance is large, and the weather fine. The following is the Home team : Stoddart, Smith, Pougher, Atiewel!, Woodcock, Gunn, Ilearnc, Board, Wynyard, Ranjitsinghi, and McLaren. Graham, Eatlv, and Jones are not playing for the Australians. Iredale was caught oil' his second ball, while Gift'en and Darling followed in successive overs. Donnan and Trott made an invaluable stand, and added 53 runs before a separation was effected.
