LEAVE OF ABSENCE TO MR RHODES. RHINDERPEST SPREADING. Cape Town, July 15. After a heated discussion the Legislative Assembly by 5*2 to 12 granted le&TO of absence to Mr Cecil Rhodes, who is with the Chartered Company's forces in Mattabdeland. Pretoria, July 15. The spread of the rhinderpest in British Becuhanalaad is alarming the settlers there.
