J© SEEING what a hold Trotting has taken in Hawke's Bay, I have succeeded in buying the Trotting Stallion " TIP-TOP." He is a dark bay, with black points, three years od, and stands 16 hands. "Tip-top"is by Judge Belden out of Lily Vermlont He had twelve mares last season, and all are in foal, which proves that ho is sure. Knowing full well that his breeding cannot be picked to pieces, I intend to offer him to the public this coming season. He is exceptionally quiet and good-tempered, and is a performer, having run first in Auckland, third in Hawera, and second in New Plymouth.
