SPORTING NEWS.

[By Gipsy Grand.] Mr Bronghton has disposed of his Patrick-Princess Royal colt "Jim Campbell " to Mr W'i Hutana of Wairarapa, at a satisfactory figure. I believe he got over the century for the roan youngster. If looks go for anything he is well worth the money. Mr W. Bronghton is negotiating with M. R. Gooseman for the Musket horse Wonderland. If he should secure him he ought to nick well with theNgapuke stud matrons. Mr Jim Campbell, stud groom at Ngapuke, tells me that the only good foals at that place this season are by Mystical the son of Wonderland. I was i* error when I mentioned that the last arrival from Auckland for Ngapuke by the Tasmania was Princess Royal. -It should have been her son by Mystical. They tell me he is a very promising looking youngster, and very forward for his age. From what I know of Oungan he should have no difficulty in appropriating the Melbourne Grand National Steeplechase this afternoon.
