MEETING IN WELLINGTON. [By Telegraph.] Speciar to Standabd. \\'i-;i,7.i:,yTox, This Day. Messrs J. G. Wilson, R. Cobb, G. Wheeler, W. C. Buchaimn, A. Matthews, J. Tucker, A. Mcllapdre, J. W. "Williams, S." T. Seddon, and J. Baker have been appointed as council of the North Island Sheepbreeders' Association. One other member will be elected to represent Auckland. At the same meeting the risk of introduction of the tick plague was discussed, and it was resolved to draw attention to the danger of allowing the importation of hides from neighboring colonies.
