"PREJUDICE AGAINST COLONIAL MEAT VANISHING. London, -July 1. Mr John Cooke, of Australia, who has been inquiring into the frozen meat business in Great Britain, declares that after visiting Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, and Belfast, he has formed the opinion that the public prejudice against frozen meat is vani-liing, and he advises that the quality and condition of the meat should be improved ; also that the number of veiling agonts be restricted.
