AGAINST YORKSHIRE. London, June 30. The weather to-day was showery, and the wicket- drying afterwards under the influence of the wind, was all against the batsmen. The attendance was small. Batting under these unfavorable circumstances, the remaining five wickets of the county team were disposed of for 38 rur.- ; . the total for the innings being 140. Darling, as usual, played good cricket, keeping the field busy while at the wicket. Haigb, who found a dangerous spot, secured seven of the wickets. July 1. The Australians won the match against Yorkshire by 140 runs.
