Fatal Accident.

SETTLER AT NGATURI KILLED. (By Telegraph.) Special to Standard. Pahiatua, this day. Ole Christeansen, a settler at Ngaturi, seven miles from Pahiatua and who formerly was a boarding-house keeper in Masterton, was found dead last night with the wheel of his trap on his head. Evidently while driving home in the dark one wheel had passed over the bank and the vehicle overturned, the wheel falling on his head and pinning it to the road.
