SHOCKING SUICIDE.

A BANK MANAGER BLOWS HIS BRAINS OUT. Sydnky, June 24. A sensation was created in the city to-day when the news was circulated that Montagresti, the manager of the Raymond Terrace Branch of the Joint Stock Bank, had committed suicide. It seems that the deceased was driving home, and alighted from the buggy on the way out. After going a few yards he placed a revolver to his forehead and blew his brains out. Montagresti was recently charged with embezzling moneys belonging to the bank, and was acquitted on this r charge, but a further charge was pending against him. In letters found on his person, deceased maintains his innocence, and declares he could stand the strain no longer.
