An enteresting relic of Nelson was sold recently at the auction rooms of Messrs Phillips, Son, and Neal, in New Bond street. This consists of a mahogany washstand with drawer and looking-glass, which stood in his cabin in the early period of his career, and was given "by him, before Trafalgar, to a purser named James Brown, who acted as his clerk. The relic was knocked down for 20gs.
