BAIL ESTREATED. Melbourne, -Tune 20. Gcake, the well-known Daylesford solicitor, recently sentence! to two years" imprisonment on a charge of converting trust funds to his own use, and who was released on bail pending the decision of the Higher C'ouit on certain points reserved, and which have now been decided against him, has disappeared. Ho far the efforts of the police to trace him have proved unavailing, and his bondsmen have been informed that his bail has been estreated.
