AN AMERICAN OUTRAGE.
A BANKER SHOT DEAD BY A wo ILL)-];;-; robber. NEW Yokk, .June IG. A dastardly outrage was committed at Wycoifs Bank of New Amsterdam in this city. A robber entered the bank and demanded a largo sum of money Avhich was deposited in Wycoff's private room. As the request- was not complied with, the wouJd-be thief drew a revolver and shot Wycoi'f dead, and subsequently shot himself dead.
